Front end Friday!! 🇺🇸

I inherited this car from my grandfather last fall after brain cancer took him very quickly. I never got the chance to ask him much about the car because we lived pretty far apart. I've owned Trans Ams my whole life, never knew much about Chevelles. Lol. But anyway, I noticed on the front fenders there's no light/reflector/turning signal whatever it is. Could you buy front fenders without them or do y'all think this was filled in? Blue car for reference!

Got this for 5 dollars at a farm auction! I'm pretty excited! 😊
