Honeymoon Resort in Krabi?

Booking our honeymoon this week to Thailand. We are doing Bangkok (2 nights) —> Krabi (4 nights) —> Koh Samui (4 nights).

I’m stuck on the options for the Krabi area as I’m seeing so many recommendations but not familiar with the areas. So far I’ve narrowed it down to:

- Banyan Tree Krabi
- Phulay Bay

Pimalai in Koh Lanta also came highly recommended. We considered Rayaveedee (which is originally what I was set on doing but the rates have doubled and we can’t justify that cost compared to other great options in the area).

Our priorities are having the ultimate “honeymoon” romantic experience but also not being stuck in a resort all day. Would love a resort that is close to a mix of activities (I.e. would love to visit Phi Phi and an elephant sanctuary). Has anyone been to any of these resorts and can share their take? Any other recommendations?

Thailand Honeymoon Itinerary

My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon for late February 2027 (peak dry season). We are both young (28F and 32M) and very social people so looking for a mix of relaxing, jungle, and some party vibes.

Below are two tough itineraries I’ve put together based on my research. Any thoughts? Any islands listed you think should be prioritized or replaced? I really want to take advantage of the dry season and the crystal blue waters.

Bangkok (1 day) -> Koh Samui (3 days) -> Koh Phagan (2 days) -> Krabi (4-5 days) -> depart from Bangkok

Bangkok (1 day) -> Phuket (3 days) -> Koh Phi Phi (2 days) -> Krabi (4-5 days) -> depart from Bangkok

Also any advice or suggestions are welcomed :) hoping to be there for a full moon or jungle party.

Jackson Lake Lodge worth it?

Planning a last minute trip to the Grand Tetons (first time) for the week of Monday July 27th- Thursday July 30th. As expected options are pretty limited/expensive.

We are mainly going to explore, hike, take in the scenery and the wildlife. I really want to stay inside the park itself, and Jackson Lake Lodge looks like it ticks a lot of boxes.

My question is for those who have stayed there: is it worth it? I’m willing to deal with the no AC/TV but want to make sure what we’re paying (which is a lot) makes it worth it (I.e. the views, wildlife, food, anything else?)

Thank you :)
