Surgery Advice!

Hi okay so I get my excision done in 2 days, and was wondering what your pre-surgery prep non-negotiables are? My dr. just gave me the anti-bac soap and that was all, but I feel like there’s no way that can be all, right? TY!

How are we managing being able to work?
I work in a sales showroom so I am on my feet 8hrs a day at least 3 days a week. There is no way for me to be able to work remotely, but I can’t keep calling off when I have a bad flare up or can’t get out of bed because I need the money. I feel lost, hopeless, and like I have only 2 choices, be broke or suffer at work and do half as well as I know I can and risk getting in trouble…
My manager and boss both know about my endo and pcos, but I don’t think they know just how bad it can be…I get my excision in 2 weeks so should I just tough out the next 2 weeks in pain or do I take care of myself and stay home? I feel like there really is never a right option.

Also how are we dealing with the fatigue that comes with endo, because it is awful. i don’t even know who I am anymore..i’m always tired and have no motivation to get out of bed. it has effected my weight and my everyday life.

Any tips/opinions/anything welcome for pain/fatigue/post-op, pre-op, and all the fun stuff🫪
