People who are submitting 50+ resumes a day, how?

Do you not adjust your resume per the position/company? No cover letter? Just spam open positions on job sites? It’s taking me an hour to submit to companies, make any corrections their data fields made when I uploaded my resume, filling out their 50 questions, filling out their self rating module, some even have me create an account in order to do anything. I just want to feed my cats, eat, pay my bills/rent, and maybe go out for a bite to eat & a concert once a month.

Do you have any time specific rituals with your cats?

At 8pm every single day we have what’s called, “Kibble time!” Where I give each of my oranges a half cup of the high fat kitten kibble they have been eating since they were babies. My big boy starts screaming at me around 7pm. He knows the words Kibble Time. When I ask him if he is ready for kibble time at 8, he completely loses his shit, screaming even louder, running to the kibble bin to stand on it and yell at me so I know where it is.

I accidentally found a $10k pay gap between myself and someone with the same role/tenure. Now they want me to gamble with my raise.

The company wants to give me the $10k raise, but only in a monthly bonus that we are eligible for. The problem is that the bonus is structured 50% individual goals, 50% store goals. If I miss one of my ten metrics goals I lose my entire individual bonus. There are four store goals. Each one makes up 25% of that half of bonus. Also, guess who makes up the goals. That’s right, upper management.

They’re just trying to get me to quit, right?
