Intermittent fasting or 5 small meals

A little context, 32F, 5'4", two kids (10&1), currently breastfeeding, hypothyroidism that has been managed for about 18 years. After my first daughter I was at about 200 pounds and decided to start losing weight. I worked incredibly hard for 8 years and got down to 135 before getting pregnant with my second. I have a manual labor job and work out five times a week. I don't eat the greatest but I do stay within my macros and did for a lot of my pregnancy as well. I have been 165 since my second daughter was born almost a year ago. I have decided that I want to focus more on strength than weight loss, but I would still like to be able to lose a little bit of that extra belly fat. I have talked to a couple different doctors about the fact that I can't lose anything but they always recommend different things. So I'm basically just wanting to see if it would be better for me to do intermittent fasting or eat five small meals a day. I am also incredibly consistent and have been for a long time, so it's very frustrating that I haven't been able to lose even a pound and it's even harder for me that it's all in my belly. I know that's part of being a woman, especially post-pregnancy and breastfeeding. But absolutely ANY advice would be incredibly appreciated. 🫶🏼
