Chilean cryptids #2: El sapo fuerzo
The creature is green in color, often described as the hue of deep moss or pond slime, but with an unnatural glow. Its body is squat and heavy, with short, stubby horns protruding from its forehead - more like bone nubs than devilish spikes. Most strikingly, its back is covered with a turtle-like shell, giving it the appearance of something ancient and armored, almost prehistoric, its size varies wildly - from as small as the palm of a hand to as large as a small dog.
The name Sapo Fuerzo - literally "Strong Toad" - comes from its supernatural strength. Eyewitnesses claim it can shove aside boulders, tip carts, and even spook or move horses with ease. It does so silently, sometimes with just a flick of its fat, rubbery limbs.
