I wanted to replace the micro-B port by a USB-C port but the vendor messed up and sended me a JDS-011 USB-C port instead of a JDS-030 USB-C port.

I don't know to much about modding but my quiestion is:
Should I try it?
Is it a bad idea?
Am'I risking my DS4 if I try to use the JDS-011?
