my council refuses to fix my dangerous driveway

I have no visibility (due to parked cars on my street) when exiting my driveway. I live on a street directly connected to the Pacific hwy and near to a train station, so the street is fairly busy. I have gotten into multiple near misses as I had literally 0 visibility - when exiting I will turn off music, open my windows, and just try to listen to see if there's any cars coming.

I contacted my council about this last year but they have continuously said it's not an issue. I submitted a complaint about the council's findings and the came back in a week (fastest thing the council's ever done) saying that the initial finding was fine and they're not going to do anything about it.

at this point it's just a matter of time before there's an accident and I'm feeling super lost - what am I supposed to do in this situation? any help or ideas is very appreciated

edit:

  • i asked for a mirror and my council said it was not safe to install, and said my only option was a no parking zone.
  • my driveway is the worst on my street as it is the closest to the highway (where cars are allowed to park) and the road has a curve, making any visibility completely impossible.
  • I live in a unit, and can turn my car around within the property, so this is not an issue of reversing out
