Golden pathos killing tree in our front yard? 😔

Looking for advice. I made the mistake of thinking this vine was harmless and now I'm realizing it needs to come down? Worried the tree might die or fall, but I don't know enough about this sort of thing. 😥 I attached as many pictures as possible to give you an idea of how spread it is.
