Bigger inner rim worth it?

I'm a recent comeback player after many years and have found I can't play on the bigger pieces like I used to (1 1/2C, 1 1/4C). I love my sound on them, but typically tire out within 30 minutes of playing.

I dug around a lot on here and on TH and landed on getting a Yamaha Hagstrom that I've been using for about 5 months now. Despite the rim being a lot smaller than I'm used to, I do really like my sound on it and can easily play for a lot longer. I've been using it for a local community wind ensemble, playing the second and third parts. My issues with it are I feel I have difficulty in the lower register and getting a big enough sound to project. Otherwise it's very comfortable overall.

My question is, is it worth looking into something with a larger inner rim? Is there something between this mouthpiece and the really big ones without making my endurance go out the window? I feel like a 3C would be too shallow and not have the same sound I'm looking for. Or do I stick with it and keep practicing? I'm also hoping to get back into a community orchestra which is why I found something with a bigger cup, throat, and backbore.
