Tree Fell Down - Could It Be Poop?
A couple weeks ago we had a crazy storm come through my region—high winds, tornado warnings—the works. We had a VERY large tree on the property I rent from go down during the storm. I’m not an expert, but the tree did not look rotted from the outside. With that said, after the tree fell down, you could see where the inside looked quite rotted. I recently found out that my downstairs neighbor has been throwing her dog’s poop right behind the tree for the last three years. This seems so silly, but could this cause over fertilization of a long established tree? Please don’t tease me for questioning this! 😅 I just know that over fertilization of house plants can cause them to die.
Note: the tree snapped at the base, where it meets the ground.
Thanks!
