I (20F) am 2 weeks away from being homeless. I've lived with my roommates for a year and a half, but haven't been able to contribute to anything because I haven't been able to find a job to accommodate my needs until recently, and they want me out when the lease is up. My current "household" will consist of me, my boyfriend (18M), and a cat. My only concern is that I don't have a car and I don't want to lose my furniture. Does anyone have any advice? All of the shelters are downtown and I won't be able to afford and apartment for roughly 2-4 months. I've called around most areas to which they all say they don't have funding or open beds. Anyone have any ideas? I'll take whatever advice I can get
