If a friend had only 7 days in Vietnam, where would you send them?
You only get one chance at a first Vietnam trip, and 7 days goes by fast.
Would you tell them to stay in one region and slow down, or try squeezing in multiple cities? North with Hanoi and Sapa? Central with Da Nang and Hoi An? South around Ho Chi Minh City? Or something completely different?
Curious what route you'd recommend and why.
Not necessarily the most famous itinerary, just the one you'd personally stand by.
