Hey guys I’m trying to grow a YouTube channel. This is my 3rd try and Ive been trying to grow this channel for around 3 to 4 months but the videos are not really working.

My plan was to first try Shorts grow some followers, learn how YouTube works and then take a bigger risk by making long form videos with my face. So I was trying this first.

I know these types of channels probably don’t monetize, and my goal right now isn’t really to earn money. I just want reach and to build an audience.

I also have around ₹60k in savings which I don’t really need right now. Should I invest some of it into making better content.

Is this type of content just not working anymore or am I doing something wrong Or is YouTube so competitive now that it’s really hard for new creators to grow

Would appreciate some honest advice
