Learning SAP transactions and use in end-2-end processes was a mess, so we built something for it

Working in SAP consulting for years and the same problem kept coming up: looking up how a transaction fits into a bigger process, what tables it writes to, what gets triggered in other modules.

So we started building a mobile app for other consultants, key users and learners, where you can look up any major SAP transaction with its step-by-step guide, tables it writes to, and module impact. Same for end-to-end processes like Procure-to-Pay or Record-to-Report. Just launched last week on iOS for now as ERP Coach.

I am still trying to figure out if this is actually useful for other consultants or if I just built it for myself. Would love some honest feedback:

  • When you need to understand a transaction's full impact, what's your current workflow?
  • Would you use something like this more for daily work or for training new consultants?
  • What's missing from existing SAP reference tools that would actually make your life easier?

Happy to DM the link if anyone wants to try it. I have a few 3-month free codes for people willing to share honest feedback.
