Rant!!

I turned 25 this year, and I already feel like I've failed.

I was always the topper in school. I was the student teachers pointed to as an example. I had big aspirations, a clear plan for my future, and, honestly, I was probably overconfident because I had never really experienced failure.

After 12th grade, I enrolled in a professional course, and now I'm finally in the last stage. This is my third attempt, and I'm confident that I'll clear it this time.

But when I look back, I can't stop thinking that I did this to myself.

If I'm being completely honest, I know I would have finished this course two years ago if I hadn't become lazy. I stopped studying consistently, took things too lightly, and kept postponing things.

I feel like I wasted two years of my life.

The strange thing is that I know I'll probably be fine. I'll most likely complete the course this year and start with a handsome salary

But that doesn't change how I feel.

I can't stop comparing myself to the version of myself I thought I'd become by 25.

Instead of feeling excited about finally reaching the finish line, I feel disappointed, guilty, and behind.

Kashmiri Sons-in-law

"I don't understand why so many Kashmiri sons-in-law seem to show little respect toward their wives' families. I've often seen fathers-in-law being brought into unrelated discussions and spoken about disrespectfully. I've witnessed this pattern in many families around me, including among my father, uncles, neighbors, and others."
