We got Archie 3 years ago after some research into different cat breed’s personalities. I grew up with Siamese/Orientals which are very needy and can’t be alone. Not ideal for two working professionals. RB’s were said to be very independent, so the choice was quickly made. We quickly noticed that Archie really enjoyed company and the solitary thing was not true for him. We got him a full brother (Oscar) as soon as was possible and the two get really well, despite very different personalities.
Are your blues very solitary and shy of strangers as is said to be characteristic of RBs? Ours are definitely not.
Love these cats, so social, goofy and playful.

Took my deba out of its sheath after a period of non use to find it rusty. I always dry my knives properly before storage however. The same thing happened with my TnH gyuto and petty earlier.
Any idea how this is possible? Just humidity?

Had a glass w lunch in a restaurant and finished the bottle on the train home. Lots of tension and very flinty-mineral. Fine bubbles. Apple and pear. long finish. Very nice.
