Quad Cortex stage setup

Hey yall, I finally converted and got myself a QC. For live, I planned on using it straight into thehouse PA, but Im now realizing that Im not going to have sound behind me. Could I just use a cheap PA wedge behind me? Or does FRFRs do something that a regular PA cant?

Thanks!

Jim Lill (sorry, another post)

I have been saving for a BAE 1073mpf for a while now and was set to pull the trigger once sweetwater restocks them, but this video has me thinking

“Maybe I should just get the warm audio 1073 and call it a day. Id feel dumb getting the BAE if they sound the same”

However after watching comparison videos between the two, I hear minimal differences between the two.

Im also a very straightforward and factual person, so Jim showing all these stats, measurements, and corrections kinda diminishes my excitement about owning a BAE. What do yall think?

Also, do you think this will affect the prices of preamps on the used market? Ive seen people commenting about how after watching the video, they’re selling their neves, api’s, etc

So I want to work on my rooms acoustics. When tracking acoustic guitar there are lots of reflections. However The layout of my room is quite funky. My walls and ceiling are made from slim wood strips about 2 inches wide. In between each strip is a tiny divot. So no flat surfaces throughout the room, besides the windows covered by curtains. There is one flat spot directly across my monitors and I was planning to hang a diy acoustic panel there. Also I was planning to put in a rug and its all hardwood flooring, and they hang up two panels on my ceiling. I know my approach to treating my room is pretty ‘caveman’ or ‘ooga booga’, but is there any good resources to know exactly what im doing? Thanks everyone!

Also I plan on doing everything DIY
