Laundry Cabinets

An after & before of some laundry cabinets I made for my Mom, as well as the entryway wainscoting and trim that I did at the same time. This was my first wainscoting project, and my second cupboard project, and my first ones were just for in the garage

It took me over a year altogether, with large breaks for university between various stages of the project, and cost about $8,000 Canadian in materials. It’s all made from birch plywood and solid maple

The lights are going to be replaced and moved soon(ish) by a real electrician, I don’t want to get zapped or burn the place down lol. The cupboard doors are able to open though, despite them

The dryer hose was replaced with rigid pipe where it is now permanently concealed, so I didn’t create a fire hazard

I made the cupboard doors to match the profile of the wainscoting panels (which were made first), which meant they needed to be 1 1/4” thick, so I had to get creative, and embedded the hinges in the doors themselves, as the hangers were designed for 3/4” doors. They took a painfully long time

I think I did good, but feel free to point out any room for improvement! :)
