Appreciation Post

I just want to thank everyone in this community for helping me buy my first scooter, for helping/advising/teaching me everything about my new toy! This feeling is absolutely amazing riding on the burn e, fully armoured feeling safe AF and just enjoying everything about this experience 😍

I did just over 50km now, went 90km/h (only once😁), went through the woods in it and a dirt track with no problems and just lovely every minute! If anyone has depression, wants to experience something so beautiful, enjoy the roads like never before then you have to get yourself a e scooter 😍😍.

Right now I ordered a new sticker deck, a new handlebar and handlebar extender, some underflow lights, a new throttle, new handlebar grips, a handlebar extender and reflective stickers for the sides and wheels for the meanwhile 🙏🏻

Again thank you all so much and stay safe out there!

Burn E has arrived!

So just last night less than 12 hours ago my Nami burn E (30ah) arrived and my excitement was through the roof (yes I'm 38 but you can see my smile from the moon 🤣)! Yes I couldn't wait and had to take it out for a spin for a night ride and let me tell me, this is probably the first time ever that I have felt this much excitement, thrill and haven't had this much fun in ages! What a BEAST of a scooter and I haven't driven a scooter in my entire life, ive always been a bike guy so this is really new to me! There was a wobble after 80km/h which is scary so I think I'll drive it not more than 60km/h, I'm sorry I didn't take any pics but to be honest my legs, thighs where cramped and shaking from the ride which is a new feeling to me probably because of how scared I was and how excited at the same time 😅

After my first 12 km ride (didn't fall! 😅) I have loads of thoughts, need about of advice from the community and some cons that are I think fixable 🙏🏻

  1. What's up with the freaking dead zone in the throttle!! It's outrageously bad that it's a hair line been full throttle and no throttle at all. The only way I can get some control over it is to place my thumb right near the beginning of the throttle stick and not where the thumb is supposed to be for extra control.... Can I plug a play a different throttle that I don't have to splice into?

  2. Can I swap into a mountain bike handlebar because the one that comes stock is waaaay too short for my liking and didn't feel comfy with it.

  3. What's up with all the settings!? I feel overwhelmed by them although I didn't go through them at all, just had a peek and didn't want to see it again 😅 Is there any advice on what I should tweak? What I should change in settings?

  4. I feel the deck is ok, not that big but it ain't small either by since it's the first time I ride a scooter, how to you position my feet? Like do I keep my right foot in front and my left foot on the back tail or the other way round?

  5. There is E mode which is Eco, D for drive? C mode which I have no idea what that, S mode for sport I guess and X mode for GO CRAZY! which I had on for my of my trip last night 😂 what's the best option to use and what the hell is C mode?

  6. Pretty much after the ride like a few metres away from my house, the back brake started to make this weird noise, is t normal if I was braking too much or it got hot? Not sure if I should be concerned or not about this

Thats pretty much it, thank you for everyone recommending me this scooter! Thank you for future hacks, tricks, advices etc and yes I do wear full body armour with a full face helmet because without them I would feel comfortable riding this beast 🙏🏻

Probably I'm an idiot or I've done a midlife crisis thing but Ive just purchased a Nami Burn e2 as my first scooter ever 😅😅 I'm coming from the ebike world , riding max 1000w on my bbshd bafang with a max speed of 60km/h so everything in the scooter world is pretty much new to me here...

I am posting this to ask all of you do you have any advice/tips and tricks for this scooter? It'll be here in a few days and I'm not sure where to start 😁 Is there any kind of setup, any settings I should know, any advice? Would really appreciate any advice from y'all, thank you 🙏🏻

5 scooters 😅

Hey everyone! I'm coming from an ebike and looking into buying a escooter because of easier travels/storage at work. My daily commute is around 15km, I live in a very hilly area and need something that's "strong".

I'm trying to decide between the

Teverun fighter 11 carbon (non plus because I can't find it in my country),

the NAMI blast,

the NAMI klima 72v

the dualtron city v2.

The inokim oxo 2026

Why I'm so hesitant is because of reliability problems and I'm not sure which will be more fun to ride 😅 If y'all have any other suggestions that are close to the same price as these please let me know thank you 🫶🏻
