I got tired of keeping three Palworld maps open, so I built one that has everything (free)
I want this to be the most complete Palworld map out there, so suggestions are very welcome.
I've been playing Palworld since launch, and for most of that time I had three maps open in different tabs. One had the effigies, another had better Pal spawns, a third told me what was in the eggs, and none of them had everything I was looking for. Half the time something was missing or out of date, and I was the one keeping track of what I'd already found.
So I built the map I actually wanted: everything in one place, with what each thing holds, and it remembers your progress for you. It's free: gamehosting.app/tools/palworld/map
What's on it:
- ~17,700 points in 81 categories, each with its own toggle. Every egg type is separate, and so is every effigy type (all 155 Lifmunk, World Tree included). Plus chests, ore, fishing spots, merchants, bosses, dungeons, journals and skill fruit trees. Palpagos and the World Tree are separate maps.
- Click anything to see what it holds. Eggs show which Pals can hatch and how likely each one is. Chests and junk piles show their drops, fishing spots what bites and the odds, merchants their stock, journals their full text.
- 274 Pals with their actual icons on the map, not dots. Pick one and you see every spot where it spawns, day or night, with its level. Alphas get a ring.
- An area level heatmap. Every zone is colored by Pal level with the range written on it, so you know where you can survive yet.
- Progress tracking with no limits. Mark effigies, chests, journals, anything as found, and each category shows your count (24/140). Fast travel points light up blue once found, like in-game, and you can keep them on the map while hiding everything else you've collected.
- Track your Pals. Tick each Pal when you catch it, and again when you have all 5 captures for the Paldeck bonus. Filter by missing, caught or under 5/5.
No account, nothing to install. Everything you mark is saved in your browser, so you can just open it and start using it. If you switch devices, export your progress to a file and import it on the other one.
The other thing that always bugged me was updating my progress by hand. I also run a small Palworld server host, so I put the same map in our server panel, and there it updates itself. It reads your world and shows your friends and bases live, and the Pals your group has caught get ticked off on their own. You don't touch anything.
I play this every week, so if something's missing or wrong, tell me in the comments and I'll fix it. I'd love to make this the go-to Palworld map, so ideas are very welcome.
Edit: thanks for all the suggestions, a few are already live:
- Load your save: hit "Load save" at the bottom of the sidebar and it ticks your fast travel points, effigies, journals, bosses and caught Pals. It's read in your browser, nothing gets uploaded.
- Custom markers: add your own pins with a name and note (thanks u/Vast-Natural3060).
- Pal potential (IVs) in the breeding path (thanks u/RyukoMatoi_).
