This question changed my interview “How are you prompting your AI?”

Going to keep this short because the moment itself was short. The interview was for a junior role and I was using an AI tool to help me think through answers.

The interviewer noticed and asked, "How are you prompting your AI?" That one question changed the whole interview.

The next 20 minutes were nothing like the first ones. He stopped quizzing me on the basics and started asking how I work with AI as a teammate. How do I check its work? How do I keep it from leading me wrong? How do I know when it's giving me a confident but useless answer?

I left thinking the bar for junior is changing faster than people realize. Companies aren't only looking for people who can do the work. They're starting to look for people who can do the work with AI and still produce something reliable.

Got the offer. Still kind of stunned by how quickly the conversation flipped.
