My little man was just taken for sedation for his X-ray. His urinalysis came back with no UTI, but there were red blood cells. Not pigment from anything he ate.
I'm so terrified that he has to go under, I trust the vets but God is it scary. Please send us good thoughts
Please wish us luck, I went to snuggle my otherwise perfectly normal boo a few hours ago and noticed bright pink spots of urine. No peppers fed in the past few days. The only thing I'm doing different is giving them maybe half a Sherwood urinary support tablet every 2 days since noticing excessive calcium in my other pig's pee. Could that be causing blood?? I doubt it. Thankfully I had a vial available and was able to collect a sample, I'm gonna drop it off tomorrow and hopefully get him seen either tomorrow at regular clinic or if not then emergency vet.
I'm panicking big time. I have extreme pet health anxiety and trauma over animal illness. We also just bought a house and are hemorrhaging money, even with pet insurance. Sorry for drama dump. Anyway, please wish us luck and positive ✨no stone✨ thoughts. Little man was a champ getting a sample.
