I’m bringing a rare 35mm print of the savage neo-noir thriller 52 PICK-UP (1986) to the Alamo Drafthouse Yonkers on May 27th.

Directed by the legendary John Frankenheimer, written by crime master Elmore Leonard, and released by Cannon Films, this nasty slice of ‘80s pulp stars Roy Scheider in one of the decade’s grimiest thrill rides. Packed with blackmail, strip clubs, violence, and enough sleaze to make you want to jump in the shower.

See it the way it was meant to be seen: on film and on the big screen.
