⅕I'm still in the development stage for buying a van. I would like the Mercedes but have been thinking about repair availability. Im going to do a lot of back road travel and am assuming that there will be problems with finding repair shops. Where as it seems that American vans would have more repair facilities available.

Has anyone been stranded because their mercedes van broke down and they couldn't repair it? If buying a new one would you get a Mercedes again anyhow?

If you don't have a Mercedes did you take availability of repair shops into account?
