Worth official diagnosis?

I am just starting to realize that I am (most likely) hypermobile. I have chronic pain in my neck, shoulders, ankles, feet and wrists/hands, and have been told by PT/OT that I have hypermobile hands and shoulders at least. I talked with my PCP about possibly having HSD or hEDS and she pretty much blew me off. She did refer me for PT so there’s that, but I’d really like to have an official diagnosis (I am autistic and really crave certainty). However I’m learning that getting a diagnosis is difficult and potentially expensive. Have y’all found it to be worth it if I already can do PT? If so, what specialist was most helpful?
