Hi Reddit! I'm u/TabFromCimilre, a Certified Lactation Counselor, Marketing Manager at Cimilre, and mom of three. I will be here LIVE to answer your pumping and breastfeeding questions.
As a mom who's been through the feeding journey myself, I know how many questions, doubts, and curveballs can come up along the way. My personal experiences are a driving force for supporting parents through it all, from the early days of learning to latch, to managing supply changes, troubleshooting pump issues, and figuring out how to keep things going after returning to work.
I believe every parent deserves a feeding approach that actually works for them, whether that's exclusive pumping, breastfeeding, combo feeding, or something that doesn't have a name yet.
I'm especially excited to talk about:
- Flange sizing, output concerns, and the "is this normal?" postpartum phase
- How dual-motor pump technology works and who can benefit from it
- Why your insurance pump might not be meeting your needs, and what your options are
- The Second Chance Pump Program and how it might help
Ask me anything! This thread is open for 48 hours, so drop your question whenever you're ready, and I'll work through as many as I can.
Go ahead, nothing is off limits. I believe no question is too small to ask.
Disclosure: I'm answering questions today in my role at Cimilre Breast Pumps, but everything I share reflects my own clinical knowledge and personal experience.
