This analysis made me reconsider some aspects of the finale. I still don’t like the final product — personally I feel that it fails as art, as coherent narrative, and in delivering satisfying character arcs.

This piece has made me think perhaps there was more being attempted in the writing and production than I saw on my first viewing — even though the attempt was not successful.
