Cats love their catio
I purchased the **“**Catio Playground Outdoor Cat Cage” from Wayfair and modified it a bit. To get the roof to come up over my window, I added a frame at the bottom then assembled the catio itself on top of the frame. I added some wooden cross braces to support the clear plastic roof pieces. I also added some walking paths and wrapped a 2x4 in sisal rope to give them a climbing/scratching post. I also installed a cat door into the window screen so they can come and go and not let every bug into my bedroom. I also spray painted the wire mesh black which makes it basically disappear.
Rocket and Charcoal love it out there! They even went out in the snow.
I have added a few planter boxes seeded with cat grass and catnip and I plan to hang some spider plants.
