Markee (Or Markeee) Stealing Posts
After being made aware that Markee (or Markeee for his new channel) has been stealing Oz’s thumbnail style, which Markee seemingly "abandoned" (Just made it blue) after a commenter pointed him to Oz Media’s Reddit thread by u/waterpurrs pointing it out. I wanted to check to see if anything else was being stolen on top of the thumbnail styling.
I’ve come to find that Markee has been sourcing his OhNoConsequences videos from UhOhConsequences, as these posts:
were not posted to OhNoConsequences anytime recently, but were posted to UhOhConsequences by u/Plastic-Ice409 and just approved last night as all of these appeared out of nowhere. Meaning that Markee recorded his video right after these were approved.
While these are older posts, the issue arises of Markee using Plastic Ice’s work of finding the posts for Oz’s subreddit, only to not give Plastic Ice credit and pretend that he had found them himself.
This is not the first Reddit YouTube I’ve noticed sourcing from Oz’s UhOhConsequences, however this is the most egregious example of it and Plastic Ice and all UhOhConsequences posters and collectors deserve their credit for finding and sourcing the old posts.
Mind you, this is after it was shown by u/waterpurrs that Markee had been stealing Oz's thumbnails down to the icon that Oz choose himself to use for the BestOfRedditorUpdates Subreddit, something that no other reddit channel uses (aside from AI channels stealing Oz media's content outright)
Many commenters had noticed this about Markee and he had been deleting them, including a comment chain that showed he'd been deleting them on top of pointing him towards the post by u/waterpurrs. This is why he later changed his thumbnails, although he is still stealing aspects such as the rainbow text that Oz will occasionally use, as well as what sounds like Oz's entire background music (which is *also* not credited by Markee)
Markee is also using AI generated backgrounds and blurring them, hoping that his viewers will not notice.
For some reason I cannot upload images to reddit, however I have been collecting deleted comments that have been calling Markee out as well as the evidence of the old thumbnails that were obviously stolen from Oz.
