When installing OS X 10.9, I encountered the error message "Installation information for this device could not be found. Please contact AppleCare."
I encountered this problem while trying to upgrade from macOS 10.8.5 to 10.9.5. I tried restarting my computer, but it didn't help.
The model is a MacBook Late2009, and I replaced the hard drive with an SSD. I also installed macOS 12.7.6 on a separate partition. (I searched it up and it seems to be related to this)I'm currently trying to use the CreateInstallMedia tool included with the installer to create a USB drive for installation,and I hope it will successful
