83 Civic 1500DX Carb Shot
My beloved Zippy broke down this week and had to be towed off to the spa.
Got a call today to tell me the carburetor is leaking gas and needs replacing to the tune of $570 for a replacement.
About 15 years ago, I rebuilt (?) it in the vehicle with a kit and tools lent to me by a friend who had worked for Honda for eons.
Started right up afterward!
My question is: should I rebuild it again, or should I go on the hunt for a new one?
The sensible adult would probably not throw money at it. Fortunately, I am not sensible today.
Any info and resources happily accepted!
