What is a good AI assistant for membership organizations?
We’re looking at AI mainly to cut down on repetitive member questions, things like events, policies, training resources, renewals and finding old content. The options seem pretty different depending on the problem, Intercom Fin looks stronger on support workflows, guru seems more internal knowledge focused and customgpt.ai caught my attention because you can build a dedicated assistant around your own association content instead of starting from a generic bot, Ada also looks interesting if the priority is automating a larger support operation.
I’m less worried about having the “smartest” model and more about citations, keeping information current and making sure members actually get useful answers. Anyone running this in a membership organization already? What are you using?
