Need help with trees

Hi - I am new to this sub and very new to landscaping!

We live in Massachusetts in a backyard that is open and west facing. While 9-10 months of the year is lovely - couple months it gets brutal! We also have a pool in the backyard and no trees!

As seen in the photo - the property line is about 25-30 feet from the pool fence line but yard on the right side of the pool is huge and open.

We have planted an autumn blaze where I have marked it with red - so in next 5 years or so we will get some shade as I planted a 20 feet tall tree. I have 3 goals

  1. to plant trees such that I am not completely blocking the openness as it looks nice most of the yard
  2. but plants 2 additional big trees to provide shade and privacy long term from living room. Window and the deck
  3. to get some shade on the deck. I think autumn blaze till give us shade In a few years from the evening sun but debating if I should plant 1 more big tree next to it and if there is enough space

All the purple highlighted ones are the places I want to plant something

Suggestions needed -

If I plant 3 big trees and a couple ornamental trees scattered around - will it look weird? Any other suggestions to serve my goal of blocking evening sun and adding privacy from deck and living room area ?
