Bunny season + ER visit
Hi all,
I wanted to post about a scary learning lesson I had today.
My beautiful girl, Lucy, threw up blood today. I immediately took her to the ER where they did X-rays on her.
The X-ray revealed that she got a baby bunny (😭) and that the bones were causing her GI bleed. We have a fenced in yard and after doing a thorough sweep, I found the nest in between some bushes.
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that it’s baby bunny season and to be extra vigilant. I blocked off that part of the yard and am going to do daily sweeps to avoid anymore incidences.
Very very happy to report that she’s okay now, but that was something I definitely never want her (or any bunnies) to go through again!! ❤️
