Useful resources I made for beginners

Useful resources I made for beginners

Hey y'all my name is Aharon,

I am teaching Hebrew as a second language in the last 4 years, and in the last few weeks I created some useful references that can help you get more practice or practice more effectively on your own and I thought I should share them, as they are already online and out there.

Learn the alphabet (including Nikkud) playlist + worksheets:

This playlist is a work along the worksheet you can download and learn how to read and get quite good with the vowels system as well.

Listening practice for beginners:

This playlist features 2 stories in each video, speaking about a beginner level subject at beginner level.

E.G: self introduction, speaking about family and even reserving a table at the restaurant (that I'm editing literally today)

Flashcards for basic and glue words of the language:

Lastly for vocabulary expansion I created a deck of flash cards for an app called Anki, it's a great app to expand your vocab as it's precise and targeting exactly that (leave Dou and start a Streak on Anki it's far more effective)

The deck is colour coded for gender sensitive words (nouns, pronouns etc...) and has a recording of the word and an example sentence for each card with a recording as well.

125 Most Basic and Glue words in Hebrew

If you're interested in learning in a 1-on-1 or group settings I would love teaching, it really is my passion.

Happy learning 😃

Handstand work

After a short break where I focused a little more on Acrobatic skills I dicided investing more time on my handstands.

I focused today on finding better posture (regaining will be more accurate) I focused mainly on my shoulders as I felt that my schepula was not optimal last time and I tried finding a comfortable push.

This one was the last one of the training, and I think I found the push nicely this time it felt really nice on the body and very confusing for my nervous system that didn't get what is going on. But it was so cool to feel that connection through tension through this push (if you'll look closely you might find my left shoulder spazem from fatigue and nerve overload 😅)
