My wife's 2015 renegade had to go in for a new alternator a few weeks ago as the battery stopped charging (replaced battery first, no effect). After changing the alternator, the battery charge level seems to change randomly while driving along. In today's 25 min drive it showed everything from 12.4 to 14.8, changing every few minutes. I would have expected that it should be consistently charging while running and showing around 14v?

Has anyone else seen this and know what's causing it? Or it it supposed to do this?
