It seems to be a known issue that tiny particles of dust and debris cause micro dents in the screen when the laptop is closed. I'm pretty careful with it, but it does travel with me in a backpack in a protected laptop sleeve. I'm noticing more of these small dents popping up over time.

I bought my laptop refurbished from a third-party resaler nearly 2 years ago, I'm outside of the warranty period, and I don't have Apple care - so there's no risk of me voiding any policy. Is there a good solution to help protect the screen when the laptop is closed?
