"cat" scare
My neighbour has a device pointed from their drive across and towards mine (semi detached) .. it WAS blaring a high pitched noise at motion (or a bit of wind) and is now just beeping constantly.. I confronted the middle to elderly aged couple about it, just saying that I understand they wouldn't be able to hear it, but I can.. they said it's to stop cats peeing in their garden.. I stated that's grand, but it doesn't seem to be doing much as I see cats walk up my drive and still find cat crap in my grass.. and that the sound is physically painful.. they said 'i must just be very sensitive' and made a minor attempt to move it, which TBF worked for a while, but now it's seems to be malfunctioning and is just constant.. I'm lost at what else I can do.. I'm going mad, it's like tinnitus, just a constant high pitched rapid ticking sound.. I can hear it from my bathroom, my garden, my kitchen, my front room.. I'm having to wear earbuds if I dare have my back door or windows open, or gardening, or chores in my garage.. I hate confrontation and only mentioned it to them as they appeared aty fence about something else.. help!
