Fendi's bad photoshopping job of Blake Lively at event
So for whatever reason it appears Lively was hastily photoshopped into the streetwear slidewhow featured on Fendi's Instagram.
I have a bit of background in graphic arts and can interpret some stuff on how this may have transpired. Notice that all the other examples (image 1, 4 and 5) the subject is shot in profile. It's apparent the creative inspiration was the famous photo of the Beatles on Abbey Road (image 6).
So it's odd the Boone Hall Bozo is facing the camera, when the iconic image is the Fab Four in profile. Why? Well, it appears she was photoshopped into the street environment, likely from a photo or video taken in the store. And in fact, if you zoom in, not very well (image 3). I am always a little skeptical of photoshopping claims. My professional experience is people often mistake artifacts of image compression for manipulation. The tell is often in things being too sharp, not blurry. You can see by how sharp the edges of her shoes are that she was cut and pasted there.
The shadows are all wrong, too. They definitely used the default setting in Photoshop's Drop Show filter effect. And notice that the angle is wrong, compared to the shadows cast by the other influencers and the vehicles in the same photo.
So what happened?
My guess is Fendi never intended to feature her and that's why she was missing from the first Instagram post. And people online, including Reddit Mommy Sleuths, quickly noticed Osama Bin Lively's conspicuous absence. And Fendi changed their minds about not included her. Why? We can only speculate. Maybe she (Ryan) called up Fendi screaming about the snub?
Credit to Little Nomad on X for first noticing this.
ETA: I am sure that it’s not the case, but I would love it if this was Fendi was mocking Lively’s mocking of Princess Kate. 🤣
