Artemission and catawiki are literally scamming. Seling replicas as authentic antiques.

I was about to bid on an authentic Roman ring sold by Artemission on Catawiki. For more context, Artemission is a “well established” antiques dealer from London and very active in Catawiki. I was about to bid on this Roman ring, according to the post, dating to the first century AD. But, something in the back of my mind was bugging me. As I did more research I found that the same ring was previously sold as a replica… And as we speak, artemission is selling it as authentic. I am perplexed and lost all confidence in Catawiki.
