Don't know where to get actual feedback from.

I've always loved fiction in literally any form—movies, books, anime, manga, manhwa... you name it. A month ago, I decided to give it a shot with a stylized, narration-light detective novel/series (whatever the right terminology is) with an audience of one busy friend who occasionally reads fantasy (different genre, no relevant criticism).

I started on my own and just wrote four chapters (Introduction to the world and the first case) without searching online on how to write. Just copied the patterns of what I usually read and made my own style.

Any advice is appreciated whether it's relevant to the original question or not <3
