I Lost My Bike A Week Ago, But Now I Have a Moral Dilemma. Help Uppsala
*photos didn’t post*
A week ago I posted on this reddit about my bike, or lack there of. Now I post one week later, recovering from my loss, but facing a moral dilemma. One that I need the uppsala's opinion on.
First of all cheers for all the comments and sympathy thrown my way from my post late week. I have come to the realisation there is no hope for my ex-bike and nothing has come from that post, as expected. However I have attached some photos of my sweet new ride, my girlfriends awesome, very small, very bright pink bike which has gotten me around town (Potentially at a cost of my masculinity). Maybe some people saw a dude on a pink bike, that was me. But for now this has solved my current problem until I get a new bike.
Now the true dilemma. A few days ago we were going for a walk through the woods, and low and behold, at a time of need, a bike appears. The bike I am pictured with in the cover photo has been seemingly abandoned, left by this tree, unlocked with no mother or farther in sight.
I returned today, a few days later to see that this bike is still sitting so lonely and sad. If you ask me I would say I feel quite bad for it.
So I ask Uppsala, what do I do in this situation. Take what was stripped from me, a bike? tell the police? Leave it there? Go back everyday at 4:12pm to stop and stare at what could be?
Please tell me what to do with this bike. I will do the most upvoted comment.
Also enjoy the photos of the cool pink bike in places I went today, me flipping of where my bike was stolen, and a fallen comrade
Cheers,
Caden
