I’m Game pulling out of the clash release actually affected the Onam release hype

At least till the news was out that they postponed, there was some active discussions and some arguments from the respective fan groups about the clash. Now this has almost diluted the release scenario.

The pre-sales for both films aren’t looking very promising at this point.
What can be the reason? Less promotions, Onam holidays not yet started, what can it be?

How does social media managing work for celebrities?

Like, what are their roles apart from posting basic promo materials for the actor’s film and sharing trailers, and stuff for other actors who requests them etc.?

Above images shows the different ways Prithvi’s account is reacting to people who have shared the trailer. For someone important enough, like DQ or Nivin, he got something to tag along. If it’s Mohanlal or Indrajith, there is always a mentioning like “chetta”. Do their social media managers constantly ask them about each things to post, how to acknowledge someone and what to mention etc.?

Genuinely curious to know this

Any truth to this rumour?

Saw this on Twitter.

Prithviraj had mentioned that the film is based on some guy the writer knew personally.

Anybody has a clue?

Whats that one film, which made you fall in love with the actor in it?

Just any film in which an actor’s performance was so good that you instantly became a fan.

For me the easy example I can think of is Jake Gyllenhaal from Zodiac. I didn’t know about him before I watched the film, and even when I saw it. I just felt like this guy is an amazing actor. It made me look into his filmography and today probably he’s my most favourite actor from Hollywood.

What are yours? Any language, any genre.
Even our Big Ms can be included.

DON - One of the most stylish films of Indian cinema. What are some of the other ones?

The character looks, the costumes, the props, the locations everything was very rich, expensive looking and stylish.

Suggest some other ones which are very stylish, even if they are less on substance.

Isn’t a review almost killing a film?

This is not the first time it’s happened to me that I have enjoyed a film which is generally getting mixed reviews during its initial days. Most of the times its a thriller which has fallen into this bracket. Last one I can remember is Nizhal. Maybe that film, even this one, had a lot of loopholes, but in never stopped me from enjoying the film.

An opinion or a review is subjective, but the way such reviews affects a film, a creation, isnt simple. It almost makes or breaks the entire output that might put each and every steps taken by the team, their whole efforts, investments for this project.

Im not against reviews, will never be. But some situations like this always makes me question the whole point of this review system. How can this situation get better? Is there a possibility?

PS: This is a fairly decent film which you can definitely enjoy in theatre. And like most of the reviews and opinions, the climax was pretty satisfying.
