These are a few of my recent pens I turned,

I have been turning every once in a while for a few years, and plan to sell some this summer

This is not my best work, and I didn't finish it because I wasn't sure what to think about it. Nonetheless, it is my first attempt at turning a bowl

I got some really heavy wood from an estate sale, mabye 4ft long, but I have no idea what type of wood it is, any help would be awesome (EDIT) I added some pictures of the side that I sanded down, hopefully that helps, the dimensions are about 5" tall, 14" wide, and 34" long
