Best debt settlement companies after a money pit used car drained my savings and maxed my cards

I'm an office admin at a small law firm. Decent pay for the area. About two years ago I bought a used car from a private seller. It looked fine. It was not fine.

Over the next 14 months I put almost $7,000 in repairs into that car. A few big things and a lot of smaller things. I was using savings at first and then cards when the savings ran out. I also had to rent cars twice when mine was in the shop for extended stretches which was another $900 on cards.

I sold the car eventually and bought something more reliable but by then I had about $13,000 in credit card debt. My score is 563. I've missed three payments. I tried to consolidate through my bank and got denied. Been trying to do it myself but it has been much harder than initially thought. Debt management plan was $335 a month which I cannot do.

I'm not filing bankruptcy. I work for a law firm and I don't want any financial legal proceedings anywhere near my record even if it's unrelated to work. I've been reading about Freedom Debt Relief, RescueOne, and a few others. I want to know which of the best debt settlement companies is actually the right call.
