Thank you all for your input on my previous post, I really appreciate it. Does anyone here know the medicine that has the least side effects, I am worried as diabetes runs in the family (grandma passed away, other grandma lost her foot, dad has it now) and of course I do not want to gain weight.
35 aged female 168 lbs 5 feet 5. I am a little bit scared. I was eating like a monster (2 whole small pizzas from dominos at a time, 2 burritos at a time, 15 wings from wingstop cheesecakes, cookies, absolute mania) and now cut my calories from about 3-4k a day to 1,600-1,800. cut sugar, drinking my psyllium husk and taking red yeast in gummy form.
It's been three weeks. I have lost 4ish lbs but have stalled for some reason. I work out three to four times a week (intense workouts, weights with HIIT combo) but when I took these tests I hadn't gone to the gym in a month due to a broken arm (hence the eating like a monster, door dashing nonsense).
Anyway, all my life I have had high cholesterol over the normal limits (always hovering around 230 total) but this is beyond anything I have ever seen before. Can I redeem myself with diet or should I take the medicine?
