I just got one-shotted by the Sea Dragon in hardcore mode and I need yell about it

Ok, so first of, this was my first Hardcore playthrough and fifth overall. I had been careful, everything was going super well. This was my second descent in the lava zone, and I was walking back from the Lava Castle in the prawn to the cyclop that I'd had stashed in the pathway of the lava zone entrance by the sunk base in the Lost River. My cyclop wasn't fully stashed at the back of the pathway, more like midway.

The Sea Dragon was patrolling his usual route, and it had spotted me as I was exiting the Lava Castle, and I was dodging it successfully while also dodging the warpers. I lost sight of the Sea Dragon for a brief moment, thinking that it was behind me or something, only to see it right next to my cyclop in the pathway. Like, I've never seen the Sea Dragon go in those tiny spaces before. I legit thought it was safe!

So I'm panicking a bit, getting ready to fight the Sea Dragon with the drill arm of the prawn. And then one of those ASSHOLE warpers ejected me from the prawn, and I didn't even have time to react and swim back inside, and the Sea Dragon just one-shotted me.

They just all ganged up on me. Coordinated it. Conspired. Now, it's all over.

I made a mistake...

they look so creepy

So, new player here, 61 hours... Hi!👋 I picked up two eggs nearby the Degasi proposed habitat (the second one). I thought I was picking up Jellyray eggs and I wanted them in my Alien Containment because they so pretty. BUT NO! I picked up two devil octopus eggs and NOW THEY'RE REPRODUCING!!! I went away for like 10 minutes after they hatched, thinking I could put off this problem, and I came back to the two of them having made babies. I don't want them here. The adult versions already cost me two Seamoths and multiple lives. I don't want to kill them and don't even know how to. How do I get rid of them? Is there a way to release them?

Ok, so I'll start by saying that Insym's panic got to me a bit 'cause while I know he's right on everything in terms of his concerns. I also know (and funnily, I think Insym himself has forgotten that convo with CJ on the Tanglewood rework) that the devs are very aware of what everyone loves and feelings regarding gameplay, etc. Plus, I know that CJ watches Insym's commentary videos because he answers questions and theories from him from those videos when they go on stream together before Insym even asks him. So I very much imagine CJ laughing at Insym's panic right now because he basically said he did during the Tanglewood rework.

Anywho, once again, I agree with Insym that a sanity watch with everyone's sanity on it doesn't look appealing to me. But after looking at the screenshots, I have this wild theory that maybe the watch doesn't actually give sanity. Idk, the circles on both of the closeups here aren't aligned. Like, if it was everyone's sanity, it would be hard to guess the average or even read. And on the 2nd one, we can see the red circle fade at the top and brighten again on the left and same thing with the green although the bottom might be a different colour, which still goes to my point of being hard to read if it was all players' sanity. I certainly wouldn't be able to tell from a quick glance if we're about to get hunted or not if all the circles aren't starting and ending on the same point which doesn't seem to be the case in these screenshots.

I just feel like we might be getting trolled just a bit, especially after the Tanglewood rework. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong. Luckily we won't have to guess for too long.
