Wife Taking Her Husband’s Last Name in Marriage?

Men, how do y’all feel about getting married to a woman who expects you to be traditional, meaning you’re responsible for paying for the majority of things and taking the financial lead, but she wants to keep her last name?

And if we LIVE America don’t tell me what people doing around the world😂

Women, how do y’all feel about taking your husband’s last name, especially if you haven’t really built a name for yourself professionally or otherwise before marriage, like Teyana Taylor or other women who already have an established name?

And Marc is the definition of “happy wife, happy life.” 😂 Just be quiet, let her rock, and repeat her ideologies on the pod so there’s no fuss at home. 😂

Sharing locations 🧐

What are your thoughts on sharing locations while in a relationship? Is that something you do in your relationship or no?

I have a feeling this would not be a suitable answer for my future wife/gf😭😂 even though it’s what i would say

Friends Of The Show/Ish was mad😂

Man, the wall is undefeated.

The irony is that these are the same women who helped push the mindset they’re now criticizing, saying it’s gone too far. But it wasn’t “too far” when they were promoting it.

That’s the funny part.

Y’all were one of the biggest podcasts telling women to scam dudes, treat men like tricks, and only deal with men making a certain amount of money. On the JBP episode, y’all had Ish heated because that was the exact message being pushed.

Now the conversation has shifted, and suddenly the advice is a problem?

You can’t spend years encouraging a mindset and then act surprised when people take it seriously.

Anyone else notice how autism has become everyone’s explanation for everything?

I’ve noticed a growing trend where people explain almost any behavior through the lens of autism. Sometimes it’s self-diagnosis, other times it’s people diagnosing friends, coworkers, or even celebrities from short videos.
I understand that many adults were missed in childhood and that getting assessed isn’t always accessible. But the trend of labeling yourself, or other people, based on a handful of personality traits or short clips feels weird to me.
Being introverted, socially awkward, having niche interests, or preferring routines doesn’t automatically mean someone is autistic. It feels like we’ve gone from underrecognizing autism to seeing it everywhere.
Does anyone else feel like the pendulum has swung too far, or is this just increased awareness?

Parks is a smug A hole

Parks is so annoying when he does this…sometimes. He acts like he can never be wrong, and the smugness just makes it worse. It’s one thing to stand by your opinion, it’s another to act like everyone else is automatically wrong.
Parks moved there 20 years ago and said he did it so anybody can do it like times haven’t changed lol

- They were discussing a report that ranked New York the worst city out of 182 to start a career for new grads/young professionals

ISH is the greatest

This is why I love Ish. He’ll say stuff like this with a straight face and genuinely believe it. He’s dead serious right now. 😂
And the way he thirsts over men with money makes this even funnier.

IS THAT HATE? EMANNY PERSONAL LIFE

Real question.

The same guys yelling pause every five seconds, making no homo jokes, loudest about their straightness are also the ones who cannot stop bringing up what Emannys dick, what he’s doing, who he’s with, and what he’s capable of getting.

That’s a weird combination bro.

The fixation kind of exposes itself.

Is it jealousy? Because they wish they were still single ?? Is it just weird? Is it both? Because from where I’m standing, the guys who supposedly have the least interest in another man’s business are running the most commentary on his.

Or is this just podding banter between friends? Idk

Toxic Relationship or Content ?

11 days until Joes girl gets there is what he’s talking about. I really hope these guys are joking, but after listening to them for years, I’m not sure they are. Some of the relationship stories they tell sound less like healthy partnerships and more like people walking on eggshells.

The funniest part is they tell these stories like they’re completely normal. Everybody on the pod starts laughing and I’m sitting there wondering if anybody is going to point out how insane it sounds.
A healthy relationship should be two adults communicating. Some of the stuff they describe sounds like one person is the manager and the other is trying not to get written up.

This Hovengers segment was nasty

The JBP crew’s minus MLH inability to criticize Jay Z needs to be studied.
somehow the only person I’ve seen consistently stand on principle and address the contradiction with Jay is MLH.
These are grown men in their mid 40s and older who never hesitate to critique everyone else. But when it comes to Jay Z, suddenly it’s silence, nuance, and excuses.
What’s funniest is watching Ish, who constantly talks about morals, principles, and integrity, completely lose that energy whenever Hov is involved. The backbone disappears.
And maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but the level of celebrity worship is weird. People act like criticizing Jay Z is some unforgivable offense. And calling him Hov deriving from Jehovah is nasty work

Charla taking shots at Joe

Is he taking shots? If so i mean he’s right tho lol. Joe and Ian low key scamming and running it up since Patreon. They’ve never even provided what each tier says it will

HOVengers

They think it’s genius when Hov responds to things from years ago, including addressing the PDF allegations, but then turn around and act like Drake should “move on” for talking about something from two years ago 😂

Jay-Z took a shot at Buzbee(2+ years ago) , Tory Lanez, who’s been locked up for like 6 years, and nobody said “move on”! Stop bringing up old stuff

It’s always funny watching people apply one set of rules to the artists they like and a completely different set to the ones they don’t.

Ish Go To😂

Why does Ish always do the same two things? He’ll steal someone’s point mid convo and repackage it as his own, and somehow every discussion ends with him talking about another guy’s size or how jacked they are. 😂😭

u/Clear-Swordfish-3517 — 3 months ago

This exactly why Mel had to go 😂

Remember when Drake called Joe a dicksucker, and Mel came in the next day with the song in her bio, made 3 bathing suit reels to it, then showed up smiling like nothing happened? Joe was PISSED 😂😂😂😂😂

Body Count Matters

does a woman’s past (OnlyFans, sex work, or a high body count) make her a dealbreaker for you, or is that old-school thinking? And if you found out after you already liked her, would you stay or walk?

u/Clear-Swordfish-3517 — 3 months ago

Ish speaking facts or cap?

They was debating if Marc should fully support his daughter after college and meanwhile Ish up there sounding like the uncle who read one Facebook article in 2017 and made it his whole personality 😂

I swear 80% of the time Ish talks he be loud wrong, but he says it with so much conviction you start questioning YOURSELF 😭 That’s why Marc usually balances the room out and corrects him. But ever since Marc smoked his boots in that one debate and Ish got salty, Marc just lets him get his AI Overview takes off uninterrupted now 😂

Punch from TDE on the pod

Idk if joe was on payroll or just still resent Drake for smashing his chick but they were definitely biased except ish.
And
Why is it so hard for them to admit they were biased lol
