What can I put for a 2 year period where I was able to try to do freelance work
From June of 2022 to September of 2024 I had just moved back to Florida and was in a position where I didn’t need to have a regularly paying job. During this time I tried to do more independent freelance style work, mostly graphic design and video work, but ultimately nothing came of it and I decided that a more traditional job would be a better fit for me.
I ended up getting a decent job that I’ve been at for the last 2 years and while there are some really good benefits I’m at a point where I feel I need to move on as the nature of the business isn’t really in line with my values.
I’m wondering if I should put that period on my resume as freelance work even though nothing really came of it or if I’m better off leaving it off and hoping I get a chance to explain it in an interview.
I’m not really in any particular field so will be applying to a range of businesses if that matters.
